Optional feathering has been partially confirmed with the release of the Return to Jurassic Park DLC, which introduces the male JPIII Velociraptor as a variant skin (complete with head quills).Jossed for the feathering: none of the animals shown thus far have any.The sequel adds 1-2 additional Triassic animals: Coelophysis cinches for a definite #2, while Ichthyosaurus potentially counts since it lived in both the Triassic and Jurassic.
Confirmed for at least one Triassic dinosaur: Herrerasaurus is included in the Carnivore Dinosaur Pack.This game will also take cues from other dinosaur video games like Ark Survival Evolved, The Stomping Land, The Isle, Saurian, Mesozoica, Prehistoric Kingdom, Zoo Tycoon and Primal Carnage. Furthermore, Triassic dinosaurs will be prominently featured and have a bigger role (apart from the Herrerasaurus in Telltale Games Jurassic Park: The Game). Amargasaurus, Coelophysis, and Mosasaurus at least look to be confirmed, they can be recognized among the species seen in the announcement trailer and screenshots.įeathered and Triassic DinosaursFinally the franchise will feature more scientifically accurate up to date dinosaurs, either by default or by letting players genetically give them realistic features (for example plumage). Seemingly Jossed since it doesn't look like we're likely to get any more DLC for the first game, but we can speculate that many if not all of these species may be part of the roster for Jurassic World Evolution 2 (either included in the base game or, more likely, as DLC in the case of many).
